Set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, Naru, a skilled female warrior, fights to protect her tribe against one of the first highly-evolved Predators to land on Earth.

Director Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane) sets his three-dot targeting system on the Predator franchise with an origin story that tips its hat to Alien with its focus on a singular heroine. Star Amber Midthunder has a legion of fans from her time on “Legion” and “Roswell, New Mexico,” and from what we’ve heard, she is a worthy successor (or predecessor) to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Dutch.
